Aging transition under discrete time-dependent coupling: Restoring rhythmicity from aging

چکیده

We explore the aging transition in a network of globally coupled Stuart-Landau oscillators under discrete time-dependent coupling. In this coupling, connections among are turned ON and OFF systematic manner, having either symmetric or an asymmetric time interval. discover that depending upon period duty cycle ON-OFF intervals, region shrinks drastically parameter space, therefore promoting restoration oscillatory dynamics from aging. case coupling (where intervals equal), zone decreases significantly with resumption dynamism increasing intervals. On other hand, not we find ratio controls dynamics: state is revoked more effectively if interval greater than state. Finally, study using pulse coupling: note plays crucial role determining region. For all cases couplings, regions shrinking rhythmicity gets enhanced controlled manner. Our findings suggest type can act as noninvasive way to restore oscillators.

Successful Aging Under Religious Believes

The purpose of this article is to review investigate the relation between religion and religion belief with successful aging (mental health). Depression and anxiety is obvious among age's successful aging and religion is defined. The role of religion in successful aging is showed. The vocabulary of successful aging suggested by ballets and ballets in 1990. Airport divided two tendency of religi...

Loss of circadian rhythmicity in aging mPer1-/-mCry2-/- mutant mice.

The mPer1, mPer2, mCry1, and mCry2 genes play a central role in the molecular mechanism driving the central pacemaker of the mammalian circadian clock, located in the suprachiasmatic nuclei (SCN) of the hypothalamus. In vitro studies suggest a close interaction of all mPER and mCRY proteins. We investigated mPER and mCRY interactions in vivo by generating different combinations of mPer/mCry dou...

Aging related changes of circadian rhythmicity of cytotoxic lymphocyte subpopulations

BACKGROUND Immunosenescence is a process that affects all cell compartments of the immune system and the contribution of the immune system to healthy aging and longevity is still an open question. Lymphocyte subpopulations present different patterns of circadian variation and in the elderly alteration of circadian rhythmicity has been evidenced. The aim of our study was to analyze the dynamics ...

Aging transition by random errors

In this paper, the effects of random errors on the oscillating behaviors have been studied theoretically and numerically in a prototypical coupled nonlinear oscillator. Two kinds of noises have been employed respectively to represent the measurement errors accompanied with the parameter specifying the distance from a Hopf bifurcation in the Stuart-Landau model. It has been demonstrated that whe...

Time, Cells, and Aging

As the basis for his excellent and informative monograph, Dr. Strehler has reviewed a vast heterogenous literature and assembled the information in logical and orderly sequence. Our knowledge of aging processes has come from disciplines as varied as anthropology, biochemistry, and clinical medicine. From all these sources the author draws his material, although his emphasis is on the cellular p...
